What's new in TradegunCharts
What changes in TradegunCharts, version by version, told for the people who trade with it. The application updates itself: each card shows the version number TradegunCharts has from that day on. Yours is under Help → About; if it matches the one on the card, you already have everything it describes. Versions reach the beta channel first and the stable channel afterwards.
- New features: what did not exist before.
- Improvements: what was already there, and now works better.
- Bugs fixed: what failed, and no longer does.

Latest releaseVersion 1.4.4-beta
New features
Phone notifications, choosing which
- Filled orders reach your phone with the side, contracts, symbol, price and account. Rejected ones, with the broker's reason.
- In Preferences → “Push notifications (ntfy)” you choose which notices are sent: orders, line alarms, rectangle alarms and indicator alerts.
- Orders on the simulated account only notify you if “Also those of the simulated account” is ticked.
Point of control in the candle view
- View → “POC on candles” marks each candle's point of control with a line when the chart shows candles only, without the footprint detail.
Help menu
- It brings together “Check for updates”, “Licence” (status, key and computer) and “About”, with the version and its release date.
Improvements
The Auto button fits the period you choose
- Auto shows the most recent candles set in Preferences (300 by default; 0 for all loaded), across the panel's width and with their high and low inside, even if the price axis had been moved by hand.
Clearer buttons
- Every button with text has its icon, including coloured and disabled ones.
Bugs fixed
- Dragging the price axis to zoom out no longer gets stuck at a limit.

Version 1.0.1-beta
New features
First release candidate for 1.0
- Stable and beta update channels: in Preferences you choose whether to get each version as soon as it is out or wait for the stable one.
New indicators
- Elliott waves, a strong order block detector (Strong OB) and VWAP.
- Ease in the volume and delta panel: how far each side moves price per contract traded (effort versus result).
- The same indicator can be added several times with different settings, from a catalogue with its description.
Drawings and alarms
- Rectangles have an alarm, like lines: it sounds once when price enters them.
- The text colour of drawings can be changed; white by default.
Licence
- See the licence status, deactivate it on this computer to use it on another, or change the key.
Improvements
Faster trading
- Closing the position from the chart, the shortcut or the menu is immediate, without confirmation.
- The break-even line shows its ticks from the entry and its result while you drag it.
Zoom
- The wheel zooms horizontally over the chart and vertically over the price axis. Menus have icons.
Bugs fixed
- When switching instruments, the chart no longer shows old candles with a gap up to the live candle for a while: the broker's history replaces the saved candles straight away.

- Configurable number of strikes per side in the chain.
Portfolio hedging
- A hedging strategy with short micros, first simulated and then with real orders, kept apart from the manual trading exits.
Chart
- A box to type the ticker next to the instrument selector, and the instrument's currency on the price axis.
- Text inside rectangles, and lockable drawings so they aren't moved by accident.
Improvements

New features
Options chain
- A window with the chain for every expiry, 0DTE included, with colours for calls and puts, bid and ask and in-the-money options.
- Clicking the bid or the ask builds the strategy leg by leg, with its maximum loss and profit, break-even points and expiry curve.
- A verdict on credit put spreads with their net limit, and a Greeks window.
Gamma levels
- Choice of level source: our own calculation with the CBOE chain or TanukiTrade, with levels for gold and bitcoin and our own Max Pain.
Indicators and watchlist
- Bollinger Bands, EMA and SMA.
- A mini chart of the day, the currency and the market status of each instrument in the watchlist.
- A floating window with the latest candles of the lower timeframe.
Updates and licences
- Our own download server with update channels, and a per-computer licence activated at start-up.
- An eye in the menu bar hides the amounts on screen.
Improvements
Chart
- Vertical zoom moves smoothly, without jumps.
- Each panel reloads only its own candles and can have its own zoom level from which figures are shown.
- The account PnL is always shown in dollars.
Bugs fixed
- When adding to a position, stops no longer jumped because the side panels used an old price.
- Each timeframe bar is independent again.
25 October 2026
Version 0.20.96
Improvements
Long and short positions
- The width of the long and short tools can be adjusted.
- The left panel headers share the same style on every tab.
Bugs fixed
- The timeframe buttons are back in the chart header.
- A long or short with the stop and target the wrong way round no longer stops the chart from drawing.
24 October 2026
Version 0.20.91
New features
Long and short tools
- With the B and S keys you draw a position with its risk and reward zones in dollars, marking how far price has already travelled.

- Timeframe buttons on every chart, each independent, and the market's gamma regime in the top bar.
Latency watched
- If data arrives late, a warning on the chart and in the status bar.
Improvements
Start-up and connection
- At start-up the saved candles appear instantly, without waiting for the broker; without a connection, the chart stays available with them.
- When a new version is found, the update dialog opens.
Convenience
- Ctrl + drag copies a drawing, the cursor turns into a pencil while drawing, and the “With SL and TP” box is remembered.
- The bar timer stops when there is no market, and CRT splits its statistics into regular and extended sessions.
23 October 2026
Version 0.20.64
New features
Gamma profile by strike
- Net gamma bars, or calls and puts separately, with 0DTE or all expiries, on both sides of a central line.
Chart
- An Auto button that fits the candles to the chart's space, and Ctrl + double-click to maximise a panel (Esc puts it back).
- Key Candle Indicator and the current session's profile in Valhalla.
Improvements
Performance
- Charts that don't change aren't redrawn, and repaints are grouped across charts and windows: smoother with several panels open.
CRT and exit
- The CRT entry triggers when the level is touched, with the stop one tick beyond the sweep and the risk/reward ratio on the drawing.
- On closing you can save and exit, exit without saving or cancel.
22 October 2026

Improvements
Accounts panel
- The account's open PnL and the real result of each target.
- Table columns aligned and resizable by dragging the header.
